Protein Delivery / Transfection TruACTIV Human Protein Kinases
Made with a human-like protein expression platform - bacterial-free system
220 kinases available
High quality - Functionally guaranteed
Lot to lot reliability
Great value
Protein kinases play a profound role in human biology and constitute a legitimate and rich target area for conducting basic life science research in several diseases and disease models. Because of this importance and critical role, Genlantis is pleased to introduce an extensive line of human protein kinases, called TruACTIV™ Protein Kinases. The Genlantis TruACTIV kinases are produced using a human-like protein expression platform, which ensures proper protein folding, accurate post-translational modifications, and perfect biological activity. There are more than 220 protein kinases available in the TruACTIV line of kinases, and any of these enzymes can be obtained by you and your lab today.
Protein kinases are enzymes that transfer phosphate groups from donor molecules to specific proteins by a process referred as phosphorylation. Protein kinases are key regulators of cell functions modulating activity, cellular localization and overall functions of about 30% of human proteins. Representing about 2% of all human genes, more than 500 human protein kinase s can be classified in seven majors groups:
AGC kinases – containing PKA, PKC and PKG.
CaM kinases- containing the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinases
CK1- containing the casein kinase 1 group
CMGC – containing CDK, MAPK, GSK3 and CLK kinases
STE - containing the homologs of yeast Sterile 7, Sterile 11, and Sterile 20 kinases
TK- containing the tyrosine kinases
TKL - containing the tyrosine-kinase like group of kinases
Contents TruACTIV™ Protein Kinase - 1 vial containing 1 mg of active protein kinase
Storage TruACTIV™ Protein Kinases are shipped frozen on dry ice. For maximum protein function, avoid multiple freeze thaw cycles, store the vial at -20ºC upon receipt.
