Ozone gas is a strong oxidant and has multiple sanitary applications in various industries like pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, pulp and paper, waste water treatment, and many others. Ozone acts more rapidly, and more completely than other common disinfecting agents do. The CoolCLAVE Sterilizer has a strong antifungal, antibacterial and deodorizing effect that kills organisms starting from an eight (8) minute cycle. An average 8 minute CoolClaving cycle will eliminate the vast majority of surface contaminants*. The CoolCLAVE’s sterilizing agent, ozone gas (O3), is safely converted to oxygen (O2) by passing through a number of internal filters. Furthermore, tests show that O3 leakage from the CoolCLAVE’s front door is less than 0.005 ppm, five times below OSHA’s Permissible Exposure Limit of 0.1 ppm.

OPERATION
1. Plug power supply into wall outlet and connect it to the CoolCLAVE unit on the backside.
2. Open the door and put the objects you want to sterilize inside the unit. You can stack or put as many tools as you need, but do not overload unit so sterilizing can be effective.

MAINTENANCE
1. The CoolCLAVE has a small filter cartridge that needs occasional cleaning every 3 months. The cartridge is located on the inside of the unit, towards the back right side. Remove the cartridge by sliding it out of its holding cage and clean it by using air gun or vacuum cleaner to remove dust particles. Avoid damaging the cartridge�s fabric cover by using moderate air pressure or a soft vacuum brush head. Alternatively, you may just shake the dust off of the filter in an outdoor area, or use a dry soft brush to remove dust and particles.
2. Keep you CoolCLAVE unit clean at all times by wiping the interior and exterior surfaces with a moist towel. To avoid damaging the unit, do not use any detergents or solvents.
3. Unplug the power supply from the wall outlet when the CoolCLAVE is in storage or will not be used for extend periods of time.
4. Avoid obstructing the back of the unit by leaving a space of about 2 inches between it and a wall surface.
5. Avoid damaging the unit by putting heavy objects on top of it.
